Well, technically, I still have to survive this semester first. That and I have to fill out my application and start packing for the big move cross-country. But asides from all that things are really looking up. Looks like I'm going to be pretty busy this year though. What with seeing that, asides from all that, I have work as well as my duty as Illustrations Editor for the Vingette.

I have underlings! Go me! An entire mini group of up and coming artists who are put strictly under my control! Mwahahahaha!

Also, definitely, certainly, 100% getting back into drawing my Dark Souls comic. 3rd page AKA the beginning of Chapter 1 is almost done so keep your eyes open for it.

As for classes, so far I've only been to one, but it's looking good. My Figure Drawing class instructor is this loudmouthed little old man who seems to enjoy screaming out "AMEN!" a lot. (I feel like I'm in a Gospel Church. But asides from that he seems like a good teacher. Spent most of the four hours of class talking about the definition of art. ....Seems how a lot of these art classes start out....

@_@ Guh so much has happened over the past year I don't even want to talk about it. Like, how ones life can change in an instant. To many of those instances occurred at once for my liking. I lost love, found it again, faced financial crisis due to a fire burning down my moms job, got into the honors association at my college, almost missed out of classes this year only to get into it last minuet, worked two jobs, full-time summer courses, and more things that I can't even think about at the moment.

I started playing Final Fantasy 11 again. Got up to LVL48 Thief and LVL42 Monk. Made quite a few friends on the game. Been speaking to Nadia and Ani quite a bit and although I haven't participated on RP on my space much any more I still find time here and there to Enjoy myself with Saya and Ii Sou. Gyagh! A friend of mine who plays a Goku is coming over next week! I'm looking forwards to seeing her but I wonder if work will give me any time in order to do so. ;_; She's been so king to be sending me stuff from Japan (including the Saiyuki musical) And it will also be awesome to see Amber again as well.

Went upstate into the wilderness for a while two weeks ago and as you can all see I had time to work on some of my comic (finally, it's only been 8 years). I mostly blame Natasha for that though, seeing her after so long I'm suddenly inspired to start on my original stuff again. > If I don't start now I'll never complete the series before I die. (Yes, it's that long and agonizing.)

Asides from that nothing much. Classes start on Friday, and this is my last semester at Nassau. I already filled out and submitted my form for graduation, and start September I'm going to fill out my application for the Academy. IMMA GOIN TO CALLI! WOOOOO!

Yes yes I know I know! Screwed up and got lazy on the whole competition things. Well to both and I deeply apologize. Thing was, due to personal reasons the third contender had to drop out of the contest. And due to the type of contest it is, unless everyone hands their project in, there's no way it can be completed. But just to satisfy you both, Darien, Ojoua drew your picture and here's the link. As for Ojoua your character was designated to the other contender so i shall draw them myself when I have enough time to, I promise you this. ANYWAY! Now for something completely different! I got hired for my first freelance photography shoot! Yaaaay! My first professional art job. Of course, despite my killer camera, I'm still an utter novice so I'm going out this weekend with a friend of mine who's a professional in the field in order to get some practice in. Thankfully my photo-shoot isn't until May~

So, yea, pretty happy about that. Also was thinking about applying for a summer internship over at Disney. Still gotta talk to the deans about that though. Asides from that everything else is pretty much concerning how much of a busy-body I am.

Between classes, work, writing up my comic, taking photos for the newspaper, and doing whatever it is Vice Presidents of Anime Clubs do I have a surprisingly large amount of free time. Go figure. And because of that have been absolutely HOOKED on perfecting Final Fantasy 7. Yea, you heard me, perfecting. Right now all my characters are lvl 80+, and I have completed all the mini games and got all the items asides from getting knights of the round with a gold chocobo (still only have a black T_T), Getting Clouds Omnislash (That battle square is freaking HARD), and defeating Emerald and Ruby Weapon.

...... I have no life.

XD And don't mind my fangirling for a bit here, but am I the only Hakkai fangirl absolutely AMAZED with the newest chapter of Reload. Guh! Damn why must you be imaginary! So cruel yet kick-ass-awesome at the same time.

Tell your Cosplay Name or Whatever name you go by when you cosplay and why you chose it?
Well in my first Cosplay I called myself Cassia of the Neko Knights seeing as I was a hyperactive youth. But these days most of you people on the tube know me as ChoHakkaiFan, CHF for short.

What was your First cosplay? Why you chose it? and how do you feel about it?
Hmm, my first Cosplay was Xianghua from Soul Calibur 3 in her alternate outfit. I chose it because my cosplay group was going to a Soul Calibur theme and out of all the characters Xianghua was the most happy-go-lucky-cutsey girl in the game. And we all know how that's my type of girl to play. XD I thought it was awesome personally. But that's only because we sort of cheated cause 's and my old friend Jess's moms helped out.

When and where was the last time you cosplayed?
YaoiCon'08 ^^ Hoping to go again this year.

How many cosplays have you done?
So far only 2.

What is your most Favourite cosplay? why?
XD Most likely Xianghua. I know I know I cheeted and all... but it came out reallllllyyyy pretty~

Small fabric stores in the city mostly. Some wire hanger, a pair of fake Harry Potter glasses.... tinfoil....

@_@ A lot. Seeing as I'm in anime club and all there are a lot of cosplayers. Also I know does as well,.... hmmm just... a lot.

Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?
XD I dressed up as Yuffie in public a few times during high-school. Also stepped outside on out way to Icon in my Xianghua outfit. That was.... interesting.

Have people in public ever recognized you and asked for photos?
Do you mean in a con or out of a con? In a con, OF COURSE. Took many many photos with both my cosplays. As for out of con. We were asked when me and ani were walking as Yisou and Hakkai to take a photo with some college kids one. But I don't think they recognised who we were.

How long have you been cosplaying? & How did you get into cosplay?
I blame Jess. XD I haven't spoken to her in ages. But she's the one who convinced me and into doing our first cosplays.

What did you think of it then?
XD Amazing. I had so much fun. And I just love dressing up and getting into character.

What do you think of it now?
XD Still amazing. Can't stop loving it no matter how many times I do it. Yay geek-dom!

Where do you usually cosplay?
Well I've so far done it an equal amount of times in those two places. Once at ICon and once at YaoiCon.

Have you ever done a cosplay skit on stage?
Yes. During my first convention. (I know right? I got balls) I think we did fairly well. XD And I ended up running into the person who won in the competition a year later in my Editing Course. Go Figure.

Do you plan your cosplay outfits waaay before you’re meant to wear them?
XD Yes.

Have you ever been to a convention and cosplayed?
Well, dur.

Ever have something terrible happen to your outfit?
No especially. I never likes dresses to begin with and flashes my underwear a lot as Xianghua (Hey! I'm a soul callibur girl! That's allowed!) and Hakkai has a fairly comfortable costume so that was fine.

What is the most favourite thing about cosplay?
Defiantly acting out the parts of the character. I love pretending to be someone different. It's fun. ^^

What is the worst cosplay you have done?
O_o Um... Haven't really had any bad ones yet... i don't think. Seeing as my Hakkai one was the first one I made by hand, it came out pretty good.

Got any Cosplay pet peeves? if yes, what is it?
O_o Not really cosplay-wise. Although convention wise I hate when people do like EXCEPTIONALLY horribly. Like, out on a bandana and say they're a Naruto Character.

^^ Hakkaiiii! My first real hand sewn cosplay. I think it came out fairly nice, no? Wanna get real ear cuffs soon tho.

I want to touch-up my Hakkai cosplay and keep making it better and better. Also, Ensui-kun!

Well, unfortunatly for me though my semester doesn't officially end until Christmas Eve. Which mean finals week is the week before that. Talk about a late semester. And I STILL have yet to apply for my spring courses. I really need to get to that. Maybe tomorrow.

Also have been busy as hell what with my new part-time-job added into the mix. In all truth I really like working at Micheals. The atmosphere is a really friendly one, and despite the fact that I'm working the night shift I enjoy spending my time there.

...I do miss having time to Role Play and waste my life on Video Games though. Although I have managed every now and then to sneak an hour into playing Final Fantasy 7. Woo! Only up to Wutai village in the 1st disk and Cloud is lvl 52! *Likes Leveling way too much*

:sigh: Classic games are so much more awesome then the games these days. I mean really! Where have all the cross-dressing men gone!? Doing good in the newspaper, although I seemed to have used the wrong type of font for my comic seeing as the letters really didn't print out all that well. But what can you do other then learn from your mistakes? (Will use a much better font for the next issue.)Also participated in the schools anime club once more. XD We pretty much chilled around fake dubbing that FF7 anime. "Ah Sephiroth! I just love how you plunge your sword into me! More! More!"
